Within this body of work I strive to take the tradition of venetian "cup " making and add another page. I make all my own glasses from scratch, from sand, using none of the commercially made color bar. Some of the formulas I use are 17th century venetian and bohemian formulas, which I have modified. By going to this length it allows me to control my pallet and working in qualities of my own glass so my line work is second to none.
